I hear a lot of Evangelicals and senators saying these days that America was founded by Christians based on Christian values. Well . . . assuming that we completely discount the Native Americans, technically, Jews and Christians arrived in the Americas together (they came to South America with Spanish Explorers in the 1400s to escape the Spanish Inquisition). Also, the Jews were in Jamestown and helped to fund the American Revolution.
