X-Men - Excalibur v3 01-14 (2004-2005)

Although called "Excalibur", this brief series had no connection to the British X-Men offshoot. Instead, this version focused on dealing with the events of Grant Morrison's explosive finale to his New X-Men run. Specifically, it featured Magneto and Xavier working together to figure things out. This part of their relationship was concluded with the "House of M" storyline. Worth checking out if you are following major X-events chronologically as it is a key bridge between New X-Men and House of M/Astonishing X-Men, along with of course being written by Chris Claremont - the man who has shaped the X-Men more than any other for sure.
