Nokia has unveiled its first, truly high-end smartphone N97 at its Nokia World show held in Barcelona.

After losing the considerable 20 percent of the smartphone market to its rival Apple iPhone, Nokia has tried to fight back with this “world's most advanced mobile

“Nokia’s new N97.., will murder Apple’s handset”, believes a blogger in awe of its advanced capabilities. The company has, indeed, incorporated all advanced features in the handset to present it as a long awaited iPhone killer. It gives you the most convenient mobile browsing, e-mailing and blogging experience with its sliding QWERTY keyboard that tilts out from the side of the phone, making your typing easier and comfortable.
Coming to its basic features, it has a 3.5 inches, 640x360 touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash and 32 GB in-built memory with expandable limit up to 48 GB. The company ensures its users of constant connection with their friends and location awareness, for which it comes fully equipped with 3G, a digital compass, GPS, and Wi-Fi.
Unlike its preceding models, N97 has focused on making the device favorite of the heavy-duty internet users. The home screen comes with a new interface with widget that instantly takes you to facebook, news portals or to other web services. It seems like the company has now decided to go beyond their music-prime devices like its 5800 XpressMusic.
The company puts it as, “The world's most advanced mobile computer, which will transform the way people connect to the

The nokia n97 makes it easy to update social networks automatically with real-time information, giving approved friends the ability to update their 'status' and share their 'social location' as well as related pictures or videos."
