
Washington (dbTechno) - An advisory panel to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has thrown their support behind a new drug from Allergan Inc. which was designed to help eyelashes.
This new drug has been proven to be safe and effective according to the advisory panel.
They have recommended that the FDA approve the new drug for cosmetic use.
The uses of this new glaucoma drug would be to help eyelashes of people by making them longer in length as well as thicker.
The drug in question is known generically as bimatoprost and is sold under the brand name Lumigan.
The belief is that this drug could prove to be a big money-maker for the company in the long-run.
