Paintball is a fast-paced physical and mental game, assessing the most tactical and objective player to the challenges of the game.
Docking wheezing pellets, sprinting around for minutes at a time, wearing body armor fit for war. Who in the world would be silly enough to spend good time to do all these, wearing all the more a face mask for protection? Not to mention the number of bruises and hematomas you’d be getting? Well, if you find these whether to let a week worth’s steam off of work or for some male camaraderie and bravado, then paintball is just the sport for you!
Paintball is a fast-paced physical and mental game, assessing the most tactical and objective player to the challenges of the game. Like most recognized sport, such as those in the Olympics, not all events were considered outright part of the four-year sporting event. Unlike marathon and track and field events, some were only eventually accepted only in due time.
The lure of paintball lies in the adrenaline pumping armed combat where the players are divided into teams trying to infiltrate each other’s camps while protecting their own. Capturing the flag and bringing it back to base ends the game the team able to do this declared the winner. Players are equipped with guns pumping out pellets filled with water-soluble paint.
Although there has been a lot of contentions whether paintball should be considered a sport , fanatics and aficionados alike has a lot to say about the physical and mental aspects of the game, whether it becomes accepted as an official sport or not, paintball is here to stay!
