Default IE 8 is more powerful than firefox?

As we all konw that Microsoft's next-generation web browser - the final version of Windows Internet Explorer 8 (abbreviated IE8) is released on March 19, 2009.

The new browser bring us many new features, improvements and unexpected surprise. Internet Explorer 8 is more standards compliant than any of the earlier versions.

The new features are Web Slices, Accelerators, and Search Suggestions for Search Providers. Big improvements have been made to AJAX, JScript, and Developer Tools, there are more features to be discovered.

Internet Explorer 8 is supported on Windows Vista, XP, 2000, 2003 and is freeware. Some features are similar to firefox and even more powerful. I had used for several months and no bugs appeared, the speed is faster than before.

So, in my view, IE 8 is more powerful than firefox. what about you?

Firefox is a far superior browser period! for one you can add plugin's like firefox for seo: tools.seobook.com/seo-for-firefox.html
and search status for firefox:
quirk.biz/search_status/
which allows you to see how any and every website in the world is performing according to the sites original text. Also being an open source browser app (firefox) you can mod it's features to gain things like enhanced browser security, browser speed, and the like something you cannot do with any of the windows products as you would infringe on their 'no modifications permitted' TOS agreement as it is a commercial software, (inflexible product!)

There is no debate. Firefox is the only superior browser available. It loads web pages faster and its UI is convenient to use. Setting your Search Provider is also easy. Firefox also has loads of add-ons available

I don't think that. From my view point firefox is best. I have used both for my daily use but I only get satisfaction by only this. It is also an advanced as compare to others.

I think fire fox is more powerful then IE8. Because it provide so many features which are nice then IE 8 features. And it give nice speed on Internet and also protect the personal computer having threats but if there is minor error if get by IE8 then it will not work.

According to me Fire fox is best then IE8. Because it will contain so many tools and supporting all type of application providing nice speed and security to us. And I face problem IE that is that it file will corrupt in running Internet and it will shut down automatically and did not repair it.
