Review: Samsung Omnia mobile phone

SAMSUNG is making quite a fuss over its potential iPhone killer. It's based around Windows Mobile, meaning there's more functions and features, especially for business. But is it as easy to use?
The answer is no. The iPhone is virtually idiot-proof. It took some time to work out the Omnia. However, perseverance pays off and there are lots of glitzy and gimmicky features.

Make of the following what you will: placing the Omnia face down activates silent mode. There's no stylus, but the on-screen keyboard rivals the iPhone (although at 8cm, the screen is 8mm smaller) and the phone vibrates whenever you touch the screen.
The five-megapixel camera is good for a phone and has unique smile detection (photos can only be taken when the subject smiles), plus there's an excellent panorama feature that automatically stitches photos together.
The massive 16GB internal memory can be expanded with a microSD card. GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are integrated and its quad-band will work everywhere. It can also be added to a computer network and plugged into a television. And the battery life is good.
However, the finger-optimised menus just aren't that great. They don't feel integrated like the iPhone; they're just glitzy ways of launching separate programs. Also, the terminally fat-fingered will struggle, as you still need to press tiny text in Windows.
The big screen makes it better than HTC's Touch Diamond, but typing is better on keyboard-based phones. It's more complex than an iPhone, but it does more, too. It's good, but is not for everyone. We recommend you try before you buy.

Samsung is very reputed and top one company of the market. It has launched many smart phones in the market. It's over all review is fantastic. Omnia is the windows OS phone with all advance features. It has 5 Mega Pixel camera with LED Flash. I like this phone too much.

Well Samsung had made such a big market that it is now in top of the best mobile manufacturer's including Android phone, Java phone's.
