Toshiba Ties Touch to Windows Mobile Phone

Toshiba unveiled a brand new mobile phone today - the TG01. Despite the nomenclature, this is a Windows Mobile 6.1 based handset not a Google Android device.
Jumping on the 'let's outdo the Ithingey' bandwagon, naturally the TG01 is a touchscreen device with a 4.1 inch screen. It's also slimmer than an Ithingey at 9.9 mm deep.
The most impressive feature is that it boasts a Qualcomm 1 GHZ Snapdragon processor, making it one of the most powerful smartphones around.
It sports all the usual smartphone facilities including GPS (with A-GPS); Wi-fi and support for high speed 3G not only in the shape of HSDPA but HSUPA as well.


Being born out of the Beast's loins, naturally the browser is Mobile Internet Explorer 6.0 - but with the added advantage that it supports Flash. So watching standard videos will now be a doddle.
Curiously, instead of a standard accelerometer, the TG01 apparently has what Toshiba is describing as a 'G-sensor'. The upshot is that the user can shake the handset to answer or finish a phone call. Very niffty.

Toshiba is very good in it's Television production,laptop production, Stereo system production and good mobile phone. I think today's generation mostly like android based smart phone so cant say how it's going to rock the market of mobile.
