which software do you often use to make logos ?

I have been using Photoshop for years and have just recently switched to the Gimp as an alternative since I no longer want to have to pay the obscene prices to get a legit copy of Adobe. I have to say after some getting used to the control changes Gimp seems to be the way to go. There are also lots of sites where you can get cheap logos from generic images that you get to mix together if your looking for the "Logo For Dummies" way.
