"Orley Farm" was first published March 1861 to October 1862 in monthly instalments, illustrated by John Everett Millais. The illustration shown here is an actual drawing by Millais of the Julians Hill farmhouse in which the Trollope family lived while Trollope was growing up. In his autobiography, Trollope said that this novel was his personal favourite work.
