Motorola EM35 – Good on the Music Side
Motorola EM35 – Good on the Music Side
Not official yet, but on the loose on the Internet Motorola EM35 front If we were to compare the Motorola EM35 to the movie business, it would go in the category of musicals for this is what the EM35 is best at: keeping you in a good state of mind by listening to music. It is said to be the successor of the EM30 and, surprisingly or not, it's a smartphone running on Linux Montavista 2.6 10 OS and powered by an SCM-A11 500Mhz processor. As far as the design goes, it bears a resemblance to its predecessor, but also has several changes like the fact that it's a slider measuring 107x49.5x16mm, weighing 117grams (including battery) and the fact that the navigation wheel was stole something from Motorola ROKR E8. As unique design aspects, it sports three hardware music keys and a 3.5mm AV jack. Going into technical details, we can admire the rich music player and stereo FM radio with RDS support and although the 110Mb built-in memory is not what most would call satisfactory, the microSD card expanding memory is this phone's best friend. To make an even better impression regarding music, this phone is equipped with Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP profile for stereo music completed with Bluetooth headsets. As a tri-band GSM phone, it does not have 3G but GPRS and EDGE are very much supported. And as no mobile phone can be called as such without a camera, this Motorola features a 3.15 Megapixel one on the back, and to complete the picture, the EM35 has 2.22'' QVGA TFT display supporting 262k colors. This is a phone not aiming to impress as it was built for two specific purposes: allow its owners to listen to music and to have a great time.
