The maths problems for me is like climbing
a mountain. The problems are more appearing
to me as mental disturbance. I hardly dare to

Q1) Answer = 96

240 = 100% of horses.
2.4 = 1% of horses.
60% of horses were shod. 40% were not.
40x2.4 = 40% of horses = percentage of horses not shod = 96.

Q2) Answer: 704.
For every 5 Reds there are 11 Greens. We must therefore count in batches of (5+11) = 16

total number of batches = 1024 / 16 = 64
therefore there are 64 lots of 11 gren marbles = 64 x 11 = 704

I want a government that doesn't cater to the rich and the special interests. Both parties are guilty of this. I want a government that functions in my best interests, not along the lines of bi-partisan crying. I want a government that is strong and willful yet compassionate and caring. I basically want the government that I was told was created for this country. How did the rich and powerful come to take it over? I want a government that works for all, not just a privileged few.

Crack open a book and look at the examples given, these are pretty simple problems.

Number five, the answer is x=6. Figure out the math for yourself ;]
