What software are you using to get links?

What software are you using to submit your site to directories and search engines? (In order to get backlinks and therefore increase PR).

I tried SubmitWolf, SEOSuite, GSA Auto Website Submitter, Dynamic Submission, All-in-One Submission, WEbsite Submitter.
Some of these softwares (SubmitWolf, All-in-One Submission) allows to submit only to 10 direstoties/search engines in the trial version. But they promise to unlock more than 500,000 (!) directories if you buy the full version. Is it truth? Does somebody used some of these softwares?

Other software (GSA Auto WEbsite Submitter) allows to submit only to 7000+ directories, but you can see all these directories in the list and you can see how this software is really submitting your site to each directory/engine; it even automatically recognizes some CAPTHAs.

But again, the difference between 500,000+ and 7000+ is great.
So I am really confused. What software is the best?
