Give me some VBSEO tips..
Hey all,
About to take the plunge into the VBSEO world once the VBulletin V4 / VBSEO 3.5 releases are ready and as i am new to this i would like some Quality feedback so that i don't stuff up my upcoming project that i has spent some time developing. I have installed VBSEO 3.1 / 3.2 for a client a while back but did not pay all that much attention as he wanted to take care of things his way I hope a few of you can give me some feedback that will help my site succeed, as i really am stressing about this for some reason, i have experience installing scripts are playing around on webhosts so i should be ok, i just don't want to make any fundamental mistakes that will cost me down the track. #1 whats the best method to install VBSEO... a clean install of VBulletin... then install VBSEO... Then create the forum topics ? #2 would i be best setting the site to "Nofollow" would this help with rankings down the track ? i am sure this would deter some serial spammers from posting on my site. #3 This new Google Caffeine update, will this effect VBSEO in anyway or can you see it being a good thing ? Thanks in advanced if anyone can clear a few of those things up for me and also provide any extra tips & tricks that i can implement to help my forums do well. |

1. It does not matter the order, however, we recommend it from day 1 that way you do not have to suffer with the re-indexing process from search engines.
2. Not quite sure I understand the question, but you can add nofollows to outbound links as well as inbound. 3. I will look into this.

My heart has grown rich with the passing of years,
I have less need now than when I was young To share myself with every comer Or shape my thoughts into words with my tongue.
