Nokia Announces 3 New Phones
Nokia, earlier today, announced three phones to strengthen its position in the entry- to mid-level segment.
The new phones include the Nokia 6700 classic, the Nokia 6303 classic, and the Nokia 2700 classic. The 6700c is touted to be the successor of the popular 6300c handset and comes feature-packed with a 5 megapixel camera, Nokia Maps, and other goodies. It also boasts of a premium finish to give it a classy and rich feel. It is expected to retail for around EUR 235 once launched. Further down the price bracket there is the 6303c, which sports a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 2.2 inch screen, a 3.5mm audio jack, and not to mention, Nokia Maps. The device boasts of "excellent" battery performance and will be priced at round EUR 135. At the bottom of the pile in terms of price is the 2700c, which happens to pack in quite a decent punch within that tiny frame and price. The phone features a 2 megapixel camera and a music player; it can take cards of upto 2GB and offers full support for Nokia's Ovi service. The 2700 is expected to be priced at around EUR 65. All three devices will be on sale by Q2, 2009, and the company expects these devices to replicate the success achieved by the 6300, released last year.
