Change your menu icons of your SE

SE Flash Plugin (change the menu icons on Sony Ericssons)

This is an easy guide to change the menu icons on Sony Ericssons!
I tried this on my K750i and i had no problem(and not only me everybody says it works).

Create 5 folders in your Far Manager folder.

1 should be named "Menu_edited"
1 should be named "Menu_original"
1 should be named "Layout_remove_scrollbars"
1 should be named "Layout_original"
1 should be named "icons"

When u open one of the .rar file, then u'll see some different things
-in this case, u'll see a file called layout.xml(this goes to your "Layout_remove_scrollbars" folder)
-a thm file (just tranfer that to ur phone like an ordinary theme)
-some .gif's or .png's(this goes to your "icons" folder)
-and a file called menu.ml(to "menu_edited" folder).

Now we're all set and ready!

Way of doing this:

1. Install Far Manager, SE Flash Plugin(u install it by copying it to the plugin folder located in far manager folder) & USB Flash drivers(this will be needed when u first enter your phone and u should install them when the Windows box with the "new driver found " appears).

2. Open Far Manager, push F11, select SEFP 0.10.0.51 and then press ENTER.


3. .In the following screen select… DeviceCU60, Speed: 921600 Boot Script: According to phone model (k750_w800_CID49 in my case)(this depends on your CID this tutorial is only for CID 36 phone if u have a CID49 i will make a tutorial on Sunday).Now Enter The MATRIX!!!


4. Turn off your phone, and hold "C" down while inserting the USB Cable. You have to do this within 60 secs, or the whole progress must be restarted!


5. Press the "FS"


6. Then the screen will look like this!


7. Go to tpa/preset/system/menu


8. Copy the file called menu.ml to your "menu_original" folder(just press tab go to "menu_original" folder
now press tab again and copy the file(by pressing F5 and ok))


9. Open the folder called "menu_edited" at ur Far Manager directory.


10. Mark the file called "menu.ml" and press F5.


11. Then press copy.


12. Then open the "icons"-folder and copy those files, too, into the same directory!






13. Then go to the folder called /tpa/system/layout and replace the layout.xml file with the one from the Far Manager directory.

14. Press the "..." button untill this banner comes up. Press "yes".


Now u should have new menu icons and a new menu!




IF u u can install the USB Flash drivers but u receive a error while connecting your phone under CID36 BOOT==>your phone is a CID49(i will make a tutorial for CID 49 phones on Sunday till then u can wait or search by yourself)

* You do that it's on your on risk !If u don't do it properly, then ur phone could be scrued !

It works 100% on following models: D750, K600, K608, K750, W700 and W800!!

hey dude i understood all the procedure but i could not find SEFP 0.10.0.51 in far manager what could be the problem can u please solve it out i'm trying it since 7 days.. help me out

i mentioned it in the tutorial:
simply download the SE Flash Plugin and copy the content of the archive to the plugins folder located in the ffar manager folder

when i try connect phone with far it says fatal error while read CID
i flashed my phone from K750 to w800 i dont no whats happening it just doesnt work and my CID is 49 there is no option for CID 49 when they ask you before you connect your phone

hi dude i to have the same problem when i connect my phone i think it may be because of usb flash drivers for sony ericsson but i could not find the setup file through which i can install it on my system and try once more connecting my phone if you get any help please please reply me thanks in advance

erm... i have promble when i press F11 at the starting it didnt show up SEFP 0.10.0.51???? how to solve it??? i plug in the phone still the same
